Japan Airlines offer same day connections to more cities in Japan.

From the end of March 2008 Japan Airlines changed the schedules of JL772/771 Sydney - Tokyo- Sydney.
JL772 now departs Sydney 8.45am and arrives Nartia 5.20pm. JL771 departs Narita 8.20pm and arrives Sydney 6.40am. The new schedules allows for better connections to destinations beyond Tokyo. In addition to Fukuoka and Nagoya, passengers travelling on JL772 from 01st June 2008 will be able to connect via Narita through to Osaka and Sapporo. These same-day convenient connections via Narita allow passengers to arrive at their destination sooner.
